Yamaha U3S upright piano in Gloss black. This piano is only 11 years old and in terms of a Yamaha U3 is as new as you can generally find these amazing pianos. This isn’t one that’s just come off a ten year contract with a school etc but was sourced from its one and only owner who purchased it from new. New price is around £12750 for a piano like this so at half price she really is an amazing purchase. She even has the original label attached to the inside of the cabinet.
We are proud to offer this stunning Yamaha U3 upright piano. The flagship upright piano of the last 50 years. Most people will tell you that this is pretty much the perfect upright piano with its long bass strings allowing an effortless bass and clear sparkling mid range and treble. It just oozes quality. Solidly built and in very good condition. You will not be disappointed with her. For a Yamaha she isn't too bright either and benefits from all the small design tweaks over the last 50 years of the U3 models lifespan.
She has the later model cabinet design with the inbuilt soft close lid. This is also the professional U3S model with the sostenuto pedal for advanced playing.
With New Yamaha U models becoming ever more scarce we think it is a great investment that will hold its value.

Unlike many sellers we are honest and open in our descriptions so as well as listing all the great things about the piano we also like to point out any stand out marks or details so you know exactly what to expect when your piano arrives. Please bear in mind that most gloss finish pianos will have very fine micro scratches in the polyester / polish from dusting and this is pretty much unavoidable. We have NEVER seen a piano without micro scratches.

Here at Rowlandson pianos we pride ourselves on supplying good quality modern pianos and want the customer to be truly satisfied. In an ever changing world we have adapted by making more information on the pianos accessible online, so you can see lots of photos and a video of the piano being played. We actively seek to give an unbiased description of each piano we have for sale including any negative points. Too many times have we turned up to view an 'immaculate' piano to find that it has cup stains and broken hinges etc where people's general response is "what do you expect for 20 years old". We hate this, and I'm sure you do too so you can be sure if we say a piano is as new, it is. If we say it has some marks around, it does. And if we say it is not suitable for a grade 8 pianist, chances are it isn't.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you are unhappy with, or change your mind about your purchase within the first 30 days you are welcome to return it, at your cost, for a full refund as long as it arrives back at Rowlandson pianos in the same condition as it left. Pianos are a big piece of furniture and are neither cheap or easy to move around and we suggest that we can, at your cost, collect the item or you are welcome to make your own arrangements to return it but we do advice a specialist transport company and can usually recommend someone local to yourselves.
DELIVERY INFO
Delivery is charged at £1 per mile using google maps from our base at WF10 3QZ. We do this so you can quickly and easily work out the delivery charges. We transport our own pianos but we do work with other respectable piano moving companies who cover other areas and if they can deliver the piano to you cheaper than ourselves we will happily use their services and pass on the savings to yourselves. Collection is also welcome and we are happy to help with loading if needed but we do advise the use of a specialist piano moving company
