Refurbished Yamaha U3 upright piano in Gloss black. This is a later 4000000 serial number piano rather than an earlier 1000000 serial number.
We are proud to offer this stunning Yamaha U3 upright piano. The flagship upright piano of the last 50 years. Most people will tell you that this is pretty much the perfect upright piano with its long bass strings allowing an effortless bass and clear sparkling mid range and treble. It just oozes quality. Solidly built and in very good condition. You will not be disappointed with her. For a Yamaha she isn't too bright.
Rather than an overwhelming false sounding loud bass you get from some cheaper pianos this particular U3 has a warm, rounded bass with a real depth to it. The treble isn’t too sharp and it can trill without the sharp sound you sometimes get on cheaper pianos. Absolutely effortless and classy. We would be more than happy to demonstrate this piano at our showroom where it’s easier to show you each pianos individual strengths and weaknesses.

Unlike many sellers we are honest and open in our descriptions so as well as listing all the great things about the piano we also like to point out any stand out marks or details so you know exactly what to expect when your piano arrives. Please bear in mind that most gloss finish pianos will have very fine micro scratches in the polyester / polish from dusting and this is pretty much unavoidable. We have NEVER seen a piano without micro scratches.
This U3 is in very good condition having just had a full case refurbishment and polish. There are no stand out marks on her.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you are unhappy with, or change your mind about your purchase within the first 30 days you are welcome to return it, at your cost, for a full refund as long as it arrives back at Rowlandson pianos in the same condition as it left. Pianos are a big piece of furniture and are neither cheap or easy to move around and we suggest that we can, at your cost, collect the item or you are welcome to make your own arrangements to return it but we do advice a specialist transport company and can usually recommend someone local to yourselves.
DELIVERY INFO
Delivery is charged at £1 per mile using google maps from our base at WF10 3QZ. We do this so you can quickly and easily work out the delivery charges. We transport our own pianos but we do work with other respectable piano moving companies who cover other areas and if they can deliver the piano to you cheaper than ourselves we will happily use their services and pass on the savings to yourselves. Collection is also welcome and we are happy to help with loading if needed but we do advise the use of a specialist piano moving company

And if we say it is not suitable for a grade 8 pianist, chances are it isn't.
