Stunning Professional level Yamaha G3 piano. At 183cm she sounds much richer than typical smaller baby grands. Effortless bass and a clean and clear tenor and treble section. If you come and play this lovely piano you will understand why the Yamaha grand pianos are so well thought of in professional circles. The G3 was made in Japan in Yamaha's top factory to ensure the best quality and this piano will last you a lifetime.
Our G3 has been custom refinished in our professional workshop and is in amazing condition and would look stunning in all settings. The plum purple colour gives a luxurious and opulent finish. She has been meticulously stripped down and prepared with over 100 hours going into the casework alone. Every hinge, screw, pedal was removed and polished and she was professionally spray finished, unlike most you see for sale which have been roller or brush finished (spraying takes so much longer due to the amount of preparation work required hence why most refinished don't do this but it gives such a better finish). She also comes with a matching painted adjustable stool.
The action is light to medium and can keep up with all levels of playing from beginner to Concert level. The G and C range of Yamaha grand pianos play with ease and you really can get a lot out of them. Some pianos lend themselves to a certain type of music but this G3 is a great all rounder. She is just as happy playing Chopin as she is Adele.
She has been tuned to concert pitch and all tuning pins are tight and correct. The rollers and hammers have been reshaped and she has also been regulated and voiced.
She also benefits from a brand new set of key bushings and key tops so she really does feel fantastic when played, come and try her out.

Unlike many sellers we are honest and open in our descriptions so as well as listing all the great things about the piano we also like to point out any stand out marks or details so you know exactly what to expect when your piano arrives.
This particular piano is in fantastic condition throughout with no noticeable marks anywhere on the piano. You will not be disappointed with this piano and she is a complete one off. HOWEVER, please bear in mind that the eggshell paint finish is not as tough as a polyester. She requires a careful and loving owner and would not stand up to say a teaching environment (we know, our poor Yamaha G2 gets a lot of abuse when teaching with students putting keys, drinks, folders on the music stand.....AAARRRRGGGGHHHH). We do,however provide a matching touch up paint in case you have any accidents so no need to worry if you do scratch her.

Here at Rowlandson pianos we pride ourselves on supplying good quality modern pianos and want the customer to be truly satisfied. In an ever changing world we have adapted by making more information on the pianos accessible online, so you can see lots of photos and a video of the piano being played. We actively seek to give an unbiased description of each piano we have for sale including any negative points. Too many times have we turned up to view an 'immaculate' piano to find that it has cup stains and broken hinges etc where people's general response is "what do you expect for 20 years old". We hate this, and I'm sure you do too so you can be sure if we say a piano is as new, it is. If we say it has some marks around, it does. And if we say it is not suitable for a grade 8 pianist, chances are it isn't.
One of our pet hates is people or companies selling 'refurbished' pianos. Granted some of these may well be 'part' refurbished to a good standard, but with over 9000 parts in an upright piano, how many have really been 'refurbished' and not just had the odd felt or sticking key sorted. You wouldn't put a new tyre on a car and then sell the car as 'refurbished' would you? Therefore, you will not see any 'refurbished' pianos for sale at Rowlandson pianos, just good quality serviced pianos.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you are unhappy with, or change your mind about your purchase within the first 30 days you are welcome to return it, at your cost, for a full refund as long as it arrives back at Rowlandson pianos in the same condition as it left. Pianos are a big piece of furniture and are neither cheap or easy to move around and we suggest that we can, at your cost, collect the item or you are welcome to make your own arrangements to return it but we do advice a specialist transport company and can usually recommend someone local to yourselves.
DELIVERY INFO
Delivery is charged at £1 per mile using google maps from our base at WF10 3QZ. We do this so you can quickly and easily work out the delivery charges. We transport our own pianos but we do work with other respectable piano moving companies who cover other areas and if they can deliver the piano to you cheaper than ourselves we will happily use their services and pass on the savings to yourselves. Collection is also welcome and we are happy to help with loading if needed but we do advise the use of a specialist piano moving company
