Stunning Professional level Yamaha C3 piano. At 183cm it sounds much richer than typical smaller baby grands. Effortless bass and a clean and clear tenor and treble section. If you come and play this lovely piano you will understand why the Yamaha grand pianos are so well thought of in professional circles. The C3 was made in Japan in Yamaha's top factory to ensure the best quality and this piano will last you a lifetime. This is one of the later model C3 pianos as can be seen by the natural wood inside the body rim rather than a black finish on the older models.
Our C3 is in good condition with a few smart repairs to the casework and would look stunning in all settings. The action is light to medium and can keep up with all levels of playing from beginner to Concert level. The G and C range of Yamaha grand pianos play with ease and you really can get a lot out of them. Some pianos lend themselves to a certain type of music but this C3 is a great all rounder. She is just as happy playing Chopin as she is Adele.
She has been tuned to A440 concert pitch and all tuning pins are tight and correct with very stable tuning. She is voiced perfectly, not too bright, not toomellow.

Unlike many sellers we are honest and open in our descriptions so as well as listing all the great things about the piano we also like to point out any stand out marks or details so you know exactly what to expect when your piano arrives. Please bear in mind that most gloss finish pianos will have very fine micro scratches in the polyester / polish from dusting and this is pretty much unavoidable. We have NEVER seen a piano without micro scratches.
She is a fabulous looking piano but there are a few blemishes to point out accumulated from a busy house where she was the centre point. From 3 feet away she looks nearly as new but upon closer inspection there are a few bits worth mentioning.
The most stand out mark is on the right hand cheek which has a smart repair about 2cm in diameter. The legs have various small marks on them but we have tidied them up and they aren’t really stand out marks unless there is direct sunlight on them. We can get brand new legs from Yamaha for £950 for all three but we would rather offer the piano at a more affordable price when 99% of people wouldn’t even notice but the option is there if you prefer. There is a couple of small touch up and repairs on the left hand leg base. Again nothing that really detracts from the overall look but we are always honest in our descriptions and no one has ever said the piano isn’t what we said. In fact they think we are crazy for pointing marks out as no one else does this specifically, they just say wear and tear. RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you are unhappy with, or change your mind about your purchase within the first 30 days you are welcome to return it, at your cost, for a full refund as long as it arrives back at Rowlandson pianos in the same condition as it left. Pianos are a big piece of furniture and are neither cheap or easy to move around and we suggest that we can, at your cost, collect the item or you are welcome to make your own arrangements to return it but we do advice a specialist transport company and can usually recommend someone local to yourselves.
DELIVERY INFO
Delivery is charged at £1 per mile using google maps from our base at WF10 3QZ. We do this so you can quickly and easily work out the delivery charges. We transport our own pianos but we do work with other respectable piano moving companies who cover other areas and if they can deliver the piano to you cheaper than ourselves we will happily use their services and pass on the savings to yourselves. Collection is also welcome and we are happy to help with loading if needed but we do advise the use of a specialist piano moving company
