Welmar 114 compact upright piano finished in Little Greene Pompeian Ash. These compact pianos were absolutely fantastic pianos and we feel are equal to, if not better than , the new modern compact Yamaha pianos. Most of these compact pianos are 110cm in height but this Welmar is actually 114cm which gives a more generous bass over smaller compact pianos. You only have to listen and play this Welmar to understand what we mean. She is an extremely rare model having the 3 pedal layout with middle practice pedal. She was one of the last produced genuine British made Welmar pianos.
The sound from such a compact piano is really full and clear and the action allows control for pianists to explore both really quiet pianissimo playing to loud forte playing with ease. We feel she would suit all abilities of pianist from those just starting to grade 8 level and beyond.
We understand that most people are looking for a more contemporary appearance of their piano which is why we have painstakingly stripped back this Welmar piano and given her a fresh set of clothes in Little Greene Pompeian Ash. She still plays like a Welmar should but with the added bonus of looking absolutely stunning. You really need to see this piano to appreciate how cool this will look in your room. The Welmar 114 has just been professionally refinished in Little Green Pompeian Ash so looks as a new piano should. The inside of the piano is in fantastic condition. There is minimal play in the key bushings and the hammers have lots of life left.

We actively seek to give an unbiased description of each piano we have for sale including any negative points. Too many times have we turned up to view an 'immaculate' piano to find that it has cup stains and broken hinges etc where people's general response is "what do you expect for 20 years old". We hate this, and I'm sure you do too so you can be sure if we say a piano is as new, it is. If we say it has some marks around, it does. And if we say it is not suitable for a grade 8 pianist, chances are it isn't.
One of our pet hates is people or companies selling 'refurbished' pianos. Granted some of these may well be 'part' refurbished to a good standard, but with over 9000 parts in an upright piano, how many have really been 'refurbished' and not just had the odd felt or sticking key sorted. You wouldn't put a new tyre on a car and then sell the car as 'refurbished' would you? Therefore, you will not see any 'refurbished' pianos for sale at Rowlandson pianos, just good quality serviced pianos.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you are unhappy with, or change your mind about your purchase within the first 30 days you are welcome to return it, at your cost, for a full refund as long as it arrives back at Rowlandson pianos in the same condition as it left. Pianos are a big piece of furniture and are neither cheap or easy to move around and we suggest that we can, at your cost, collect the item or you are welcome to make your own arrangements to return it but we do advice a specialist transport company and can usually recommend someone local to yourselves.
DELIVERY INFO
Delivery is charged at £1 per mile using google maps from our base at WF10 3QZ. We do this so you can quickly and easily work out the delivery charges. We transport our own pianos but we do work with other respectable piano moving companies who cover other areas and if they can deliver the piano to you cheaper than ourselves we will happily use their services and pass on the savings to yourselves. Collection is also welcome and we are happy to help with loading if needed but we do advise the use of a specialist piano moving company
