Victor V103B upright piano - Gloss black
Stunning looking Victor upright piano. Chippendale style legs and attractive Cabinet design. This piano could quite easily keep up with Grade 8 level playing. She is equivalent in size to the ever popular Yamaha U3 and in comparison to an average U3 of this age she plays just as well. She also comes equipped with a middle practice pedal for quieter midnight practice. She is quite an imposing lady and you really do get a lot of piano for your money. Not too bright and not too dull, quite a sweet spot really for this range of pianos. She has a light / medium touch to suit most pianists amd is capable of good dynamic range. At nearly half the price of an equivalent Yamaha U3 we think she is a bargain.

Unlike many sellers we are honest and open in our descriptions so as well as listing all the great things about the piano we also like to point out any stand out marks or details so you know exactly what to expect when your piano arrives. Please bear in mind that most gloss finish pianos will have very fine micro scratches in the polyester / polish from dusting and this is pretty much unavoidable. We have NEVER seen a piano without micro scratches.
The Victor piano looks fantastic and is in very good condition. Unfortunatley there is a blemish on the keyboard lid. This cannot be seen when the lid is lifted, only when it is closed. It is a slight cloudiness in the finish around 4cm in diameter. We have tried to buff this out but without success and rather than having the whole lid refinished we have decided to reduce the piano from its usual retail price of £2995 to £2495. There is an extremely small indentation in the same lid around 3mm wide. We have photographed these for you to see. The small indentation isn't really noticeable and the cloudiness diminishes depending on the light. Apart from that there are no real noticeable marks around the piano and she really looks impressive.

Too many times have we turned up to view an 'immaculate' piano to find that it has cup stains and broken hinges etc where people's general response is "what do you expect for 20 years old". We hate this, and I'm sure you do too so you can be sure if we say a piano is as new, it is. If we say it has some marks around, it does. And if we say it is not suitable for a grade 8 pianist, chances are it isn't.
One of our pet hates is people or companies selling 'refurbished' pianos. Granted some of these may well be 'part' refurbished to a good standard, but with over 9000 parts in an upright piano, how many have really been 'refurbished' and not just had the odd felt or sticking key sorted. You wouldn't put a new tyre on a car and then sell the car as 'refurbished' would you? Therefore, you will not see any 'refurbished' pianos for sale at Rowlandson pianos, just good quality serviced pianos.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you are unhappy with, or change your mind about your purchase within the first 30 days you are welcome to return it, at your cost, for a full refund as long as it arrives back at Rowlandson pianos in the same condition as it left. Pianos are a big piece of furniture and are neither cheap or easy to move around and we suggest that we can, at your cost, collect the item or you are welcome to make your own arrangements to return it but we do advice a specialist transport company and can usually recommend someone local to yourselves.
DELIVERY INFO
Delivery is charged at £1 per mile using google maps from our base at WF10 3QZ. We do this so you can quickly and easily work out the delivery charges. We transport our own pianos but we do work with other respectable piano moving companies who cover other areas and if they can deliver the piano to you cheaper than ourselves we will happily use their services and pass on the savings to yourselves. Collection is also welcome and we are happy to help with loading if needed but we do advise the use of a specialist piano moving company
