Steinmayer 124 gloss black / Mahogany upright piano
A fabulous limited edition modern Steinmayer 124 piano in gloss black but with dark mahogany accents. A fantastic mid range piano made by Steinmayer. A few minor blemishes but In good overall condition condition and priced very competitively. She has a medium action and a good even but bright overall sound. Don't confuse her with the more common 110 pianos that might look similar on pictures. This is the taller 124 version with larger cabinet and longer string length for more volume and a more rounded sound. This is a slightly taller piano than the ever popular Yamaha U1 and at less than half price for the equivalent Yamaha yet certainly not half the piano. She has the left and right hand front of the cabinet accented in deep gloss mahogany which we think looks really good and is a nice change from a complete black cabinet. If this is not to your taste we can have these accents wrapped in gloss black for an additional £100.
We would be happy to recommend this piano for any beginner to intermediate pianist and she would look fantastic in any environment. She might not be as technically polished as a Yamaha U1 or Kawai K300 of the same size but She would suit 95% of all pianists and is substantially cheaper. She fills the void between a starter piano and a professional upright such as a Yamaha U3 or Kawai K5.
She has a middle practice pedal for midnight piano practice 😃.

Unlike many sellers we are honest and open in our descriptions so as well as listing all the great things about the piano we also like to point out any stand out marks or details so you know exactly what to expect when your piano arrives. Please bear in mind that most gloss finish pianos will have very fine micro scratches in the polyester / polish from dusting and this is pretty much unavoidable. We have NEVER seen a piano without micro scratches.
This piano is in good condition but not immaculate. There are a few minor marks around the piano that although do not detract from her overall appearance we would prefer to point out. Without these minor marks she would be priced at £2495 so a huge saving. There is a polyester repair of about 2" on the right bottom rear corner, a small 4mm blemish on the left hand side lower leg, a few faint marks on the mahogany left front leg and a small pimple mark on the lower front left leg. There are a few other tiny blemishes around but too small to pick up on a photograph. We use high powered LED lights when inspecting and evaluating our pianos so we see everything. In normal light they are pretty much invisible. We have never had anyone say a piano isnt as described and most people wonder why we mention marks that 99% of people can't even see but that's just how we are. Check the pictures, they do not lie!

Granted some of these may be part refurbished to a good standard, but with over 9000 parts in an upright piano, how many have really been 'refurbished' and not just had the odd felt or sticking key sorted. If you put a new tyre on a car you wouldn't say the car had been refurbished would you? Therefore, you will not see any 'refurbished' pianos for sale at Rowlandson pianos, just good quality serviced pianos.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you are unhappy with, or change your mind about your purchase within the first 30 days you are welcome to return it, at your cost, for a full refund as long as it arrives back at Rowlandson pianos in the same condition as it left. Pianos are a big piece of furniture and are neither cheap or easy to move around and we suggest that we can, at your cost, collect the item or you are welcome to make your own arrangements to return it but we do advice a specialist transport company and can usually recommend someone local to yourselves.
DELIVERY INFO
Delivery is charged at £1 per mile using google maps from our base at WF10 3QZ. We do this so you can quickly and easily work out the delivery charges. We transport our own pianos but we do work with other respectable piano moving companies who cover other areas and if they can deliver the piano to you cheaper than ourselves we will happily use their services and pass on the savings to yourselves. Collection is also welcome and we are happy to help with loading if needed but we do advise the use of a specialist piano moving company
