Steinhoven 128 upright piano in gloss black. Only 6 years old and in fantastic condition. Beautiful looking piece of furniture with this being the premium version of the Steinhoven range with scalloped front and fluted legs. She also has a soft close lid. The keys and action are like brand new and inside the cabinet is immaculate. Sourced from its original owner who only completed grade 1 and then gave up hence the lack of any wear and tear. . Original price for this piano would be over £4750 so this represents fantastic value. She is about an inch shorter than the flagship Yamaha U3 so benefits from a good solid bass like most big upright pianos. Unlike most of the lower end Steinhoven range which can be a little bright and brash she carries more of a European tone which is more mellow. We would be happy to recommend this piano to anyone from beginner to intermediate /advanced. I can happily play grade 8 classical pieces on the piano without issues and at less than half the price of an equivalent Yamaha of this age it represents great value.
She has a middle practice pedal for midnight piano practice 😃.

Unlike many sellers we are honest and open in our descriptions so as well as listing all the great things about the piano we also like to point out any stand out marks or details so you know exactly what to expect when your piano arrives. Please bear in mind that most gloss finish pianos will have very fine micro scratches in the polyester / polish from dusting and this is pretty much unavoidable. We have NEVER seen a piano without micro scratches.
This piano is in very very good condition. She looks like a new piano. There are some extremely small blemishes on the key lid but they can only be seen with our LED light on them and even then they are very difficult to see. They can't even be photographed but as always we are super critical of our pianos to give you 100% confidence when buying from us. Anyone looking at her in our showroom would think she was new!

We actively seek to give an unbiased description of each piano we have for sale including any negative points. Too many times have we turned up to view a 'immaculate' piano to find that it has cup stains and broken hinges etc where people's general response is "what do you expect for 20 years old". We hate this, and I'm sure you do too so you can be sure if we say a piano is as new, it is. If we say it has some marks around, it does. And if we say it is not suitable for a grade 8 pianist, chances are it isn't.
One of our pet hates is people or companies selling 'refurbished' pianos. Granted some of these may be part refurbished to a good standard, but with over 9000 parts in an upright piano, how many have really been 'refurbished' and not just had the odd felt or sticking key sorted. If you put a new tyre on a car you would describe the car as refurbished would you? Therefore, you will not see any 'refurbished' pianos for sale at Rowlandson pianos, just good quality serviced pianos.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you are unhappy with, or change your mind about your purchase within the first 30 days you are welcome to return it, at your cost, for a full refund as long as it arrives back at Rowlandson pianos in the same condition as it left. Pianos are a big piece of furniture and are neither cheap or easy to move around and we suggest that we can, at your cost, collect the item or you are welcome to make your own arrangements to return it but we do advice a specialist transport company and can usually recommend someone local to yourselves.
DELIVERY INFO
Delivery is charged at £1 per mile using google maps from our base at WF10 3QZ. We do this so you can quickly and easily work out the delivery charges. We transport our own pianos but we do work with other respectable piano moving companies who cover other areas and if they can deliver the piano to you cheaper than ourselves we will happily use their services and pass on the savings to yourselves. Collection is also welcome and we are happy to help with loading if needed but we do advise the use of a specialist piano moving company
