Ultra rare modern Seiler 132 piano in gloss black. Do not confuse this with the middle range Ed Seiler pianos, this is the German hand built top of the range upright piano. This is one of those fantastic pianos that very rarely come on the market. At the time of writing there were non for sale within the UK and a few in Europe at over £10,000 so a very competitively priced premium upright piano. Seiler are up there with the very best piano makers and if you come and play her you will appreciate why. She has a full Renner action including Abel hammer heads and includes the fabulous SMR magnetic action for ultra fast repetition. You may see some advertised new for £17000 but these do not include the SMR action which is a £3000 option so new this piano retailed at just over £20,000!!!!!!!! When you consider a new Yamaha U3 is £11,000 it shows you how premium this piano is.
She is an absolute joy to play and has a great depth of sound which will rival most baby grand pianos. She would suit even the most demanding pianists including concert standard. Definately one of the best upright pianos we have played. It isn't often we come across anything that would rival a good U3 and we would pick this piano over anything else we have had in, maybe with the exception of the Bechstein Model 8 which had a new price of £40,000!!! She is that good 😊
A completely different sounding piano to the more common Yamaha and Kawai models and just all round a bit better. Please come and play her and see for yourself.
A new equivalent SE-132 has a rrp of over £23,000 with import duties so an enormous saving. She definitely won’t be here long, and even if she is we really don't mind because we think she is ace 😀

Unlike many sellers we are honest and open in our descriptions so as well as listing all the great things about the piano we also like to point out any stand out marks or details so you know exactly what to expect when your piano arrives. Please bear in mind that most gloss finish pianos will have very fine micro scratches in the polyester / polish from dusting and this is pretty much unavoidable. We have NEVER seen a piano without micro scratches.
We would normally sell this piano for £10,000 but unfortunately she has a couple of cosmetic blemishes. There are 2 small cracks in the polyester coating on the decorative trim at the bottom of the front panel. This looks like a manufacturing fault as it is identical each side. It is hidden when the lid is up. We have carried out a polyester smart repair to the bottom left of the piano where there was some damaged polyester from a previous move. When In direct light you can see it at the right angle but in our showroom setting you can’t see it at all, even when looking for it. It has a fine line in the polyester coating around the top left of the lid on the very edge that even we didn't see until final preparation so not overly noticeable. We understand it sounds like a lot but all the marks are very difficult to see. Please check the pictures to see detailed photos and we are sure you can see it certainly doesn’t detract from her overall appearance and we have reduced the price by £2000 from our usual price which would have been £10,000. We are always overly critical of our pianos to ensure you are never disappointed.

In an ever changing world we have adapted by making more information on the pianos accessible online, so you can see lots of photos and a video of the piano being played. We actively seek to give an unbiased description of each piano we have for sale including any negative points. Too many times have we turned up to view a 'immaculate' piano to find that it has cup stains and broken hinges etc where people's general response is "what do you expect for 20 years old". We hate this, and I'm sure you do too so you can be sure if we say a piano is as new, it is. If we say it has some marks around, it does. And if we say it is not suitable for a grade 8 pianist, chances are it isn't.
One of our pet hates is people or companies selling 'refurbished' pianos. Granted some of these may be part refurbished to a good standard, but with over 9000 parts in an upright piano, how many have really been 'refurbished' and not just had the odd felt or sticking key sorted. If you put a new tyre on a car you would describe the car as refurbished would you? Therefore, you will not see any 'refurbished' pianos for sale at Rowlandson pianos, just good quality serviced pianos.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you are unhappy with, or change your mind about your purchase within the first 30 days you are welcome to return it, at your cost, for a full refund as long as it arrives back at Rowlandson pianos in the same condition as it left. Pianos are a big piece of furniture and are neither cheap or easy to move around and we suggest that we can, at your cost, collect the item or you are welcome to make your own arrangements to return it but we do advice a specialist transport company and can usually recommend someone local to yourselves.
DELIVERY INFO
Delivery is charged at £1 per mile using google maps from our base at WF10 3QZ. We do this so you can quickly and easily work out the delivery charges. We transport our own pianos but we do work with other respectable piano moving companies who cover other areas and if they can deliver the piano to you cheaper than ourselves we will happily use their services and pass on the savings to yourselves. Collection is also welcome and we are happy to help with loading if needed but we do advise the use of a specialist piano moving company
