Rossini TX120 upright piano - Gloss black with silver fittings
Rossini upright piano from around 2012 in a high gloss black case. Chippendale style legs and attractive Cabinet design and with a modern twist of having silver pedals and hinges etc for a more contemporary look. She is equivalent in size to the ever popular Yamaha U1 and at less than half the price of an equivalent age U1 is certainly not half the piano. She also comes equipped with a middle practice pedal for quieter midnight practice. She plays (and looks) similar to our Victor upright piano we have for sale but with a slightly brighter tone. Not too bright, but definitely more lively. She has a medium / heavy touch to suit most pianists and is capable of good dynamic range although she is quite a loud piano and would suit a pianist who prefers to play more modern music or jazz rather than classical in our opinion. She plays classical music fine (grade 8 is not a problem) but we have better suited pianos available. Told you we were honest!!!!

Unlike many sellers we are honest and open in our descriptions so as well as listing all the great things about the piano we also like to point out any stand out marks or details so you know exactly what to expect when your piano arrives. Please bear in mind that most gloss finish pianos will have very fine micro scratches in the polyester / polish from dusting and this is pretty much unavoidable. We have NEVER seen a piano without micro scratches.
The Rossini piano looks fantastic and is in very good condition with just a few exceptions. There has been a previous refinish on the bottom of both sides. (About 3"). We see this quite a lot from previous piano moves. We don't think you will notice but we go over our pianos with LED inspection spotlights which highlight ANY marks or imperfections so you know everything. We have previously seen a piano where one full side was repainted and not even mentioned by the seller!!!! . As you can see from the photos, would you even know ? There is also an extremely small indentation in the lid around 3mm wide. We have photographed these for you to see. Apart from that there are no real noticeable marks around the piano and she really looks impressive.

We actively seek to give an unbiased description of each piano we have for sale including any negative points. Too many times have we turned up to view an 'immaculate' piano to find that it has cup stains and broken hinges etc where people's general response is "what do you expect for 20 years old". We hate this, and I'm sure you do too so you can be sure if we say a piano is as new, it is. If we say it has some marks around, it does. And if we say it is not suitable for a grade 8 pianist, chances are it isn't.
One of our pet hates is people or companies selling 'refurbished' pianos. Granted some of these may well be 'part' refurbished to a good standard, but with over 9000 parts in an upright piano, how many have really been 'refurbished' and not just had the odd felt or sticking key sorted. You wouldn't put a new tyre on a car and then sell the car as 'refurbished' would you? Therefore, you will not see any 'refurbished' pianos for sale at Rowlandson pianos, just good quality serviced pianos.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you are unhappy with, or change your mind about your purchase within the first 30 days you are welcome to return it, at your cost, for a full refund as long as it arrives back at Rowlandson pianos in the same condition as it left. Pianos are a big piece of furniture and are neither cheap or easy to move around and we suggest that we can, at your cost, collect the item or you are welcome to make your own arrangements to return it but we do advice a specialist transport company and can usually recommend someone local to yourselves.
DELIVERY INFO
Delivery is charged at £1 per mile using google maps from our base at WF10 3QZ. We do this so you can quickly and easily work out the delivery charges. We transport our own pianos but we do work with other respectable piano moving companies who cover other areas and if they can deliver the piano to you cheaper than ourselves we will happily use their services and pass on the savings to yourselves. Collection is also welcome and we are happy to help with loading if needed but we do advise the use of a specialist piano moving company
