Rosler 109 compact Mahogany upright piano

Rosler 109 compact Mahogany upright piano

Rosler 109 upright piano in mahogany. She has a few cosmetic imperfections but is a great value piano with a lovely warm sound. Currently this is our favourite compact piano under £2000 to play that we have in stock. It is made by the Petrof family of companies and has a typical warm rich tone from a very compact cabinet so that it sounds like a much more expensive piano. She plays dynamics effortlessly with a wonderful medium touch. She also has a middle practice pedal if you fancy some midnight practice without annoying the neighbours! We would be happy to recommend this piano to anyone from beginner to intermediate /advanced. We can happily play grade 8 classical pieces on the piano without issues and at nearly half the price of an equivalent Yamaha it represents great value. We can honestly say this piano sounds gorgeous and we would love for you to visit our showroom and hear her in comparison to other similarly priced pianos to understand what we mean. If you want a really bright sounding piano this is not the one for you, but if you want a more rounded sound you will love her.

Unlike many sellers we are honest and open in our descriptions so as well as listing all the great things about the piano we also like to point out any stand out marks or details so you know exactly what to expect when your piano arrives. Please bear in mind that most gloss finish pianos will have very fine micro scratches in the polyester / polish from dusting and this is pretty much unavoidable. We have NEVER seen a piano without micro scratches.

The Rosler does have some cosmetic imperfections, hence the reduced price. We would normally retail her at £1795 so it's a significant saving due to these minor blemishes. The main thing of note is some slight case fading that you normally find on brown polyester pianos. There are some small touch ups on the left hand edge and a couple of small lacquer blemishes around the case 2/3mm wide. All these are photographed and we hope you can see they are quite insignificant.

  • WHY BUY FROM ROWLANDSON PIANOS

Here at Rowlandson pianos we pride ourselves on supplying good quality modern pianos and want the customer to be truly satisfied.  In an ever changing world we have adapted by making more information on the pianos accessible online, so you can see lots of photos and a video of the piano being played.  We actively seek to give an unbiased description of each piano we have for sale including any negative points.  Too many times have we turned up to view an 'immaculate' piano to find that it has cup stains and broken hinges etc where people's general response is "what do you expect for 20 years old".  We hate this, and I'm sure you do too so you can be sure if we say a piano is as new, it is.  If we say it has some marks around, it does.  And if we say it is not suitable for a grade 8 pianist, chances are it isn't.

One of our pet hates is people or companies selling 'refurbished' pianos.  Granted some of these may be part refurbished to a good standard, but with over 9000 parts in an upright piano, how many have really been 'refurbished' and not just had the odd felt or sticking key sorted.   If you put a new tyre on a car you wouldn't say the car had been refurbished would you?   Therefore, you will not see any 'refurbished' pianos for sale at Rowlandson pianos, just good quality serviced pianos.

  • RETURN & REFUND POLICY

If you are unhappy with, or change your mind about your purchase within the first 30 days you are welcome to return it, at your cost, for a full refund as long as it arrives back at Rowlandson pianos in the same condition as it left.  Pianos are a big piece of furniture and are neither cheap or easy to move around and we suggest that we can, at your cost, collect the item or you are welcome to make your own arrangements to return it but we do advice a specialist transport company and can usually recommend someone local to yourselves.

  • DELIVERY INFO

Delivery is charged at £1 per mile using google maps from our base at WF10 3QZ.  We do this so you can quickly and easily work out the delivery charges.  We transport our own pianos but we do work with other respectable piano moving companies who cover other areas and if they can deliver the piano to you cheaper than ourselves we will happily use their services and pass on the savings to yourselves.  Collection is also welcome and we are happy to help with loading if needed but we do advise the use of a specialist piano moving company
