Lippmann UP-123 upright piano in stunning gloss oak / walnut. Just look at the finish!!!!We love a gloss black piano but sometimes they look very average when you put them next to something like this. The lighting makes it look like it has some light sun fade but this is not the case, there is NO sun fade on this gorgeous piano.
For some strange reason most of the mahogany pianos seem to sound softer than their gloss black cousins. We don’t know if this is an eye / ear trick but this Lippmann is no exception. The tone of the piano is more mellow than the equivalent gloss black pianos we have in stock and she really sounds rich and warm.
She is only around 5 years old as you can see with the latest style cabinet design (like the new Yamaha U1 / U3 models) and she has an inbuilt soft close system on the lid.
She has a heavy touch and would be especially suited to a loud player (teenage boys!!!!!) as she would regulate their playing by remaining quite soft when played very enthusiastically 😁. An ideal starter / intermediate piano.

Unlike many sellers we are honest and open in our descriptions so as well as listing all the great things about the piano we also like to point out any stand out marks or details so you know exactly what to expect when your piano arrives. Please bear in mind that most gloss finish pianos will have very fine micro scratches in the polyester / polish from dusting and this is pretty much unavoidable. We have NEVER seen a piano without micro scratches.
This Lippmann piano is in absolutely fantastic condition with the exception of a few marks. The biggest thing is on the front legs there is 2 cracks in the polyester clear coat. They are the full length of the leg on the front and side. In the left leg there is the same and some small round marks on the inside top of the leg. We didn’t even know they were there when we collected her as you can only see them in 10% of light, the rest of the time they are pretty much invisible. We have reduced the price from £2695 to £1695 due to this and you will not believe what a piano you are getting for this price .
Not a lot more to say really 😀. A new equivalent piano like this would cost in excess of £4000+ so you will not be disappointed with this piano at such a huge saving.

Here at Rowlandson pianos we pride ourselves on supplying good quality modern pianos and want the customer to be truly satisfied. In an ever changing world we have adapted by making more information on the pianos accessible online, so you can see lots of photos and a video of the piano being played. We actively seek to give an unbiased description of each piano we have for sale including any negative points. Too many times have we turned up to view an 'immaculate' piano to find that it has cup stains and broken hinges etc where people's general response is "what do you expect for 20 years old". We hate this, and I'm sure you do too so you can be sure if we say a piano is as new, it is. If we say it has some marks around, it does. And if we say it is not suitable for a grade 8 pianist, chances are it isn't.
One of our pet hates is people or companies selling 'refurbished' pianos. Granted some of these may well be 'part' refurbished to a good standard, but with over 9000 parts in an upright piano, how many have really been 'refurbished' and not just had the odd felt or sticking key sorted. You wouldn't put a new tyre on a car and then sell the car as 'refurbished' would you? Therefore, you will not see any 'refurbished' pianos for sale at Rowlandson pianos, just good quality serviced pianos.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you are unhappy with, or change your mind about your purchase within the first 30 days you are welcome to return it, at your cost, for a full refund as long as it arrives back at Rowlandson pianos in the same condition as it left. Pianos are a big piece of furniture and are neither cheap or easy to move around and we suggest that we can, at your cost, collect the item or you are welcome to make your own arrangements to return it but we do advice a specialist transport company and can usually recommend someone local to yourselves.
DELIVERY INFO
Delivery is charged at £1 per mile using google maps from our base at WF10 3QZ. We do this so you can quickly and easily work out the delivery charges. We transport our own pianos but we do work with other respectable piano moving companies who cover other areas and if they can deliver the piano to you cheaper than ourselves we will happily use their services and pass on the savings to yourselves. Collection is also welcome and we are happy to help with loading if needed but we do advise the use of a specialist piano moving company
