Kawai KST-2 gloss black upright piano
Lovely Japanese Kawai KST-2 in gloss black. Classic mellow Kawai sound and plays superb. Has quite a deep cabinet so has a rounded wholesome tone when played. The action feels fantastic and this piano would suit anyone from beginner to professional. The piano is more muted than say an equivalent Yamaha and would lend itself perfectly to a smaller room if you don't want an overpowering sound.

Unlike many sellers we are honest and open in our descriptions so as well as listing all the great things about the piano we also like to point out any marks or small details so you know exactly what to expect when your piano arrives. The Kawai looks amazing with the exception of some fine surface scratches that can only be seen in certain lights on the top cover and a small 20p size mark on the very back side that goes against a wall (all photographed and we hope you agree these are pretty insignificant and also difficult to notice). There are a couple of keys with tiny lines in which we are sure you wouldn't notice but again we prefer to be open and honest and we have included pictures of these. You really do have to be looking hard to find these imperfections

Too many times have we turned up to view an 'immaculate' piano to find that it has cup stains and broken hinges etc where people's general response is "what do you expect for 20 years old". We hate this, and I'm sure you do too so you can be sure if we say a piano is as new, it is. If we say it has some marks around, it does. And if we say it is not suitable for a grade 8 pianist, chances are it isn't.
One of our pet hates is people or companies selling 'refurbished' pianos. Granted some of these may well be 'part' refurbished to a good standard, but with over 9000 parts in an upright piano, how many have really been 'refurbished' and not just had the odd felt or sticking key sorted. You wouldn't put a new tyre on a car and then sell the car as 'refurbished' would you? Therefore, you will not see any 'refurbished' pianos for sale at Rowlandson pianos, just good quality serviced pianos.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you are unhappy with, or change your mind about your purchase within the first 30 days you are welcome to return it, at your cost, for a full refund as long as it arrives back at Rowlandson pianos in the same condition as it left. Pianos are a big piece of furniture and are neither cheap or easy to move around and we suggest that we can, at your cost, collect the item or you are welcome to make your own arrangements to return it but we do advice a specialist transport company and can usually recommend someone local to yourselves.
DELIVERY INFO
Delivery is charged at £1 per mile using google maps from our base at WF10 3QZ. We do this so you can quickly and easily work out the delivery charges. We transport our own pianos but we do work with other respectable piano moving companies who cover other areas and if they can deliver the piano to you cheaper than ourselves we will happily use their services and pass on the savings to yourselves. Collection is also welcome and we are happy to help with loading if needed but we do advise the use of a specialist piano moving company
