Kawai K-20E gloss black upright piano
Fantastic Japanese made Kawai K-20E in gloss black. Classic Kawai quality and plays very well. She comes with a Middle practice pedal for quieter midnight practice.
The action is medium and this piano would suit anyone from beginner to advanced . Slightly more mellow in sound than the equivalent Yamaha.
Although compact in dimensions she does have a really well balanced sound. These Japanese made (not the later Kawai models made in Indonesia) Kawai pianos really are impressive and most are, in our opinion, a better all round piano than the later ones.

Unlike many sellers we are honest and open in our descriptions so as well as listing all the great things about the piano we also like to point out any stand out marks or details so you know exactly what to expect when your piano arrives.Please bear in mind that most gloss finish pianos will have very fine micro scratches in the polyester / polish from dusting and this is pretty much unavoidable. We have NEVER seen a piano without micro scratches.
This particular piano is in fantastic condition throughout. The only things of note are a small 5mm blemish on the front of the lid, some tiny tiny micro dots on the left cheek and a small 3mm mark on the front key slip. We have had to point these out as they are very difficult to see. We are always over critical of our pianos and everyone who sees our pianos says we undersell them but we would rather you be pleasantly surprised rather than disappointed with your new piano. From 3 feet away she looks like a nearly new piano.

We actively seek to give an unbiased description of each piano we have for sale including any negative points. Too many times have we turned up to view an 'immaculate' piano to find that it has cup stains and broken hinges etc where people's general response is "what do you expect for 20 years old". We hate this, and I'm sure you do too so you can be sure if we say a piano is as new, it is. If we say it has some marks around, it does. And if we say it is not suitable for a grade 8 pianist, chances are it isn't.
One of our pet hates is people or companies selling 'refurbished' pianos. Granted some of these may well be 'part' refurbished to a good standard, but with over 9000 parts in an upright piano, how many have really been 'refurbished' and not just had the odd felt or sticking key sorted. You wouldn't put a new tyre on a car and then sell the car as 'refurbished' would you? Therefore, you will not see any 'refurbished' pianos for sale at Rowlandson pianos, just good quality serviced pianos.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you are unhappy with, or change your mind about your purchase within the first 30 days you are welcome to return it, at your cost, for a full refund as long as it arrives back at Rowlandson pianos in the same condition as it left. Pianos are a big piece of furniture and are neither cheap or easy to move around and we suggest that we can, at your cost, collect the item or you are welcome to make your own arrangements to return it but we do advice a specialist transport company and can usually recommend someone local to yourselves.
DELIVERY INFO
Delivery is charged at £1 per mile using google maps from our base at WF10 3QZ. We do this so you can quickly and easily work out the delivery charges. We transport our own pianos but we do work with other respectable piano moving companies who cover other areas and if they can deliver the piano to you cheaper than ourselves we will happily use their services and pass on the savings to yourselves. Collection is also welcome and we are happy to help with loading if needed but we do advise the use of a specialist piano moving company
