Ibach C116 compact upright piano finished in Basalt blue. The piano is a really deep rich blue but does appear lighter on the photos. These compact Ibach pianos were absolutely fantastic pianos and we feel they are better than the new modern compact Kawai and Yamaha pianos. Most of these compact pianos are 110cm in height but this Ibach is actually 116cm which gives a more generous bass over smaller compact pianos. You only have to listen and play this Ibach to understand what we mean. This model has the 3 pedal layout with middle practice pedal. The quality is apparent throughout and is fitted with the fantastic Renner action and has multiple back posts not normally used on smaller compact pianos to add strength and rigidity. This period of Ibach pianos were made in Germany not like the new ones now coming from the far east.
The sound from such a compact piano is really full and clear and the action allows control for pianists to explore both really quiet pianissimo playing to loud forte playing with ease. We feel she would suit all abilities of pianist from those just starting to grade 8 level and beyond.
We understand that most people are looking for a more contemporary appearance of their piano which is why we have painstakingly stripped back this Ibach piano and given her a fresh set of clothes in Basalt blue. She still plays like an Ibach should but with the added bonus of looking absolutely stunning. You really need to see this piano to appreciate how cool this will look in your room. A real talking point. Also comes with a matching stool

In an ever changing world we have adapted by making more information on the pianos accessible online, so you can see lots of photos and a video of the piano being played. We actively seek to give an unbiased description of each piano we have for sale including any negative points. Too many times have we turned up to view an 'immaculate' piano to find that it has cup stains and broken hinges etc where people's general response is "what do you expect for 20 years old". We hate this, and I'm sure you do too so you can be sure if we say a piano is as new, it is. If we say it has some marks around, it does. And if we say it is not suitable for a grade 8 pianist, chances are it isn't.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you are unhappy with, or change your mind about your purchase within the first 30 days you are welcome to return it, at your cost, for a full refund as long as it arrives back at Rowlandson pianos in the same condition as it left. Pianos are a big piece of furniture and are neither cheap or easy to move around and we suggest that we can, at your cost, collect the item or you are welcome to make your own arrangements to return it but we do advice a specialist transport company and can usually recommend someone local to yourselves.
DELIVERY INFO
Delivery is charged at £1 per mile using google maps from our base at WF10 3QZ. We do this so you can quickly and easily work out the delivery charges. We transport our own pianos but we do work with other respectable piano moving companies who cover other areas and if they can deliver the piano to you cheaper than ourselves we will happily use their services and pass on the savings to yourselves. Collection is also welcome and we are happy to help with loading if needed but we do advise the use of a specialist piano moving company
