Welmar 105 dark oak upright piano
Looking for a fantastic piano under £1000………this is it. Amazing Welmar piano made in England towards the end of Welmar piano production. This is one of the very rare 3 pedal models. The Welmar pianos have excellent build quality and fantastic actions. We really believe this is the best all round piano that we have in stock for under £1000. If this was gloss black it would be £2000
She has a dark oak finish in good condition. Inside, the piano is in fantastic condition with minimal wear on the hammers. The touch of the piano is where she excels , with loud and quiet dynamics easily achieved and a good gradient of touch in between. The bass, although only a small piano, is surprisingly rounded as a lot of pianos of this size have an almost artificial bass, loud but with no depth, if that makes sense. If you come and play her you will understand why she is such a great piano for the price. She will reward you for years to come.
She is ideal for any level of playing and will serve well for many years to come.
She has a middle practice pedal for midnight piano practice 😃.
You will see these advertised for £2500 upwards so be quick with her as we don't anticipate she will hang around at this price!!!

Unlike many sellers we are honest and open in our descriptions so as well as listing all the great things about the piano we also like to point out any stand out marks or details so you know exactly what to expect when your piano arrives. Please bear in mind that most modern finish pianos will have very fine micro scratches in the polyester / polish from dusting and this is pretty much unavoidable. We have NEVER seen a piano without micro scratches.
This piano is in good condition. There are a few minor marks around the piano that although do not detract from her overall appearance we would prefer to point out. There are 2 small repairs on the music stand where the previous owner fitted brass music holders which we have removed. There is a small 5mm blemish in the keyboard lid that can’t be seen when the lid is up. These are not too apparent as they blend with the grain of the wood. A touch up on the front cover side panels and a few small blemishes on the cheeks. We have photographed all these for you to see. There is also some slight sun fading to the casework. This is one of the least amounts of sun fading we have seen on these types of pianos and does not overly stand out, especially with the keyboard lid up. Normal wear and tear is what most other sellers would say about these points but they never show them? Why? We have never had anyone say a piano isnt as described and most people wonder why we mention marks that 99% of people can't even see but that's just how we are. Check the pictures, they do not lie! In perfect condition this piano would be £1500!!

Too many times have we turned up to view an 'immaculate' piano to find that it has cup stains and broken hinges etc where people's general response is "what do you expect for 20 years old". We hate this, and I'm sure you do too so you can be sure if we say a piano is as new, it is. If we say it has some marks around, it does. And if we say it is not suitable for a grade 8 pianist, chances are it isn't.
One of our pet hates is people or companies selling 'refurbished' pianos. Granted some of these may be part refurbished to a good standard, but with over 9000 parts in an upright piano, how many have really been 'refurbished' and not just had the odd felt or sticking key sorted. If you put a new tyre on a car you wouldn't say the car had been refurbished would you? Therefore, you will not see any 'refurbished' pianos for sale at Rowlandson pianos, just good quality serviced pianos.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you are unhappy with, or change your mind about your purchase within the first 30 days you are welcome to return it, at your cost, for a full refund as long as it arrives back at Rowlandson pianos in the same condition as it left. Pianos are a big piece of furniture and are neither cheap or easy to move around and we suggest that we can, at your cost, collect the item or you are welcome to make your own arrangements to return it but we do advice a specialist transport company and can usually recommend someone local to yourselves.
DELIVERY INFO
Delivery is charged at £1 per mile using google maps from our base at WF10 3QZ. We do this so you can quickly and easily work out the delivery charges. We transport our own pianos but we do work with other respectable piano moving companies who cover other areas and if they can deliver the piano to you cheaper than ourselves we will happily use their services and pass on the savings to yourselves. Collection is also welcome and we are happy to help with loading if needed but we do advise the use of a specialist piano moving company
