Diapason 125 - Japanese upright piano - Bespoke finish

Diapason 125 - Japanese upright piano - Bespoke finish

Bespoke Diapason 125 special upright piano In Little green 'Furrow'.  In collaboration with CraigBprojects the original casework was stripped, back and modified into a traditional style cabinet to give an even classier look.  Made by Kawai this fabulous piano plays absolutely lovely.  It is a 1981 model and has aged wonderfully with a mellow tone and not too sharp on the treble.  It is comparable to a Yamaha U2 or Kawai BL51 of the era.  Because of its larger size it has a full effortless bass.  We are really fond of the Diapason brand here at Rowlandson pianos as our very own Sacha passed his grade 8 with his trusty Diapason 126.  We absolutely love this piano and at the time of writing this advertisement it is our favourite piano in stock for feel and sound.  Absolutely lovely.

Also comes with a matching painted stool

Unlike many sellers we are honest and open in our descriptions so as well as listing all the great things about the piano we also like to point out any stand out marks or details so you know exactly what to expect when your piano arrives.  This Diapason has been fully stripped, sanded and spray painted (not roller or brush finish like most companies) and looks like new.

You  are more than welcome to come and view and play the piano at our showroom.

  • WHY BUY FROM ROWLANDSON PIANOS

Here at Rowlandson pianos we pride ourselves on supplying good quality modern pianos and want the customer to be truly satisfied.  In an ever changing world we have adapted by making more information on the pianos accessible online, so you can see lots of photos and a video of the piano being played.  We actively seek to give an unbiased description of each piano we have for sale including any negative points.  Too many times have we turned up to view a 'immaculate' piano to find that it has cup stains and broken hinges etc where people's general response is "what do you expect for 20 years old".  We hate this, and I'm sure you do too so you can be sure if we say a piano is as new, it is.  If we say it has some marks around, it does.  And if we say it is not suitable for a grade 8 pianist, chances are it isn't.

One of our pet hates is people or companies selling 'refurbished' pianos.  Granted some of these may be part refurbished to a good standard, but with over 9000 parts in an upright piano, how many have really been 'refurbished' and not just had the odd felt or sticking key sorted.  If you put a new tyre on a car you would describe the car as refurbished would you?  Therefore, you will not see any 'refurbished' pianos for sale at Rowlandson pianos, just good quality serviced pianos.

  • RETURN & REFUND POLICY

If you are unhappy with, or change your mind about your purchase within the first 30 days you are welcome to return it, at your cost, for a full refund as long as it arrives back at Rowlandson pianos in the same condition as it left.  Pianos are a big piece of furniture and are neither cheap or easy to move around and we suggest that we can, at your cost, collect the item or you are welcome to make your own arrangements to return it but we do advice a specialist transport company and can usually recommend someone local to yourselves.

  • DELIVERY INFO

Delivery is charged at £1 per mile using google maps from our base at WF10 3QZ.  We do this so you can quickly and easily work out the delivery charges.  We transport our own pianos but we do work with other respectable piano moving companies who cover other areas and if they can deliver the piano to you cheaper than ourselves we will happily use their services and pass on the savings to yourselves.  Collection is also welcome and we are happy to help with loading if needed but we do advise the use of a specialist piano moving company
