Forrest and Grant 112 upright piano in a gorgeous dark rosewood. This 2006 piano has been extremely well looked after and in fantastic condition. The keys and action feel factory fresh and inside the cabinet is immaculate. Has a middle practice pedal if you fancy some midnight practice without annoying the neighbours! We would be happy to recommend this piano to anyone from beginner to intermediate /advanced. Although not concert standard it would be suitable for 95% of pianists and we can happily play grade 8 standard pieces as can be seen in the video. It has a fairly mellow tone to it so not too bright and the keys have a medium touch. Because of the mellow tones it would be ideal for smaller spaces that still want a classic piano design. It's also more forgiving than many modern pianos in that it isn't too sharp, especially while playing trill sections where some bright pianos can be quiet piercing.

Unlike many sellers we are honest and open in our descriptions so as well as listing all the great things about the piano we also like to point out any marks or small details so you know exactly what to expect when your piano arrives. The Forrest and Grant piano looks amazing and hard to fault. It's definitely easier to keep clean than a black piano. There is a tiny 10mm blemish on the top left cheek (you wouldn't see it unless we pointed it out and we have photographed it). Also on the back corner there has been a 3mm touch up which once again you,probably wouldn't have seen. From just a few feet away you would think this was a new piano.

Too many times have we turned up to view a 'immaculate' piano to find that it has cup stains and broken hinges etc where people's general response is "what do you expect for 20 years old". We hate this, and I'm sure you do too so you can be sure if we say a piano is as new, it is. If we say it has some marks around, it does. And if we say it is not suitable for a grade 8 pianist, chances are it isn't.
One of our pet hates is people or companies selling 'refurbished' pianos. Granted some of these may be part refurbished to a good standard, but with over 9000 parts in an upright piano, how many have really been 'refurbished' and not just had the odd felt or sticking key sorted. If you put a new tyre on a car you would describe the car as refurbished would you? Therefore, you will not see any 'refurbished' pianos for sale at Rowlandson pianos, just good quality serviced pianos.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you are unhappy with, or change your mind about your purchase within the first 30 days you are welcome to return it, at your cost, for a full refund as long as it arrives back at Rowlandson pianos in the same condition as it left. Pianos are a big piece of furniture and are neither cheap or easy to move around and we suggest that we can, at your cost, collect the item or you are welcome to make your own arrangements to return it but we do advice a specialist transport company and can usually recommend someone local to yourselves.
DELIVERY INFO
Delivery is charged at £1 per mile using google maps from our base at WF10 3QZ. We do this so you can quickly and easily work out the delivery charges. We transport our own pianos but we do work with other respectable piano moving companies who cover other areas and if they can deliver the piano to you cheaper than ourselves we will happily use their services and pass on the savings to yourselves. Collection is also welcome and we are happy to help with loading if needed but we do advise the use of a specialist piano moving company
